How do I make an appointment?

How soon before I can get in to see someone?
Typically, you can be seen by one of the clinicians within a week.
What are your office hours?
We have daytime, evening and weekend hours available.
How long does an appointment last?
Appointments are usually 45-60 minutes.
How often would I be seen?
At the beginning of treatment, you can discuss the frequency of your appointments with your therapist. Initially, appointments may be scheduled weekly or biweekly. Later in treatment, sessions may be spread out more.
What about confidentiality?
Confidentiality is discussed at your first session. Everything discussed in treatment is kept confidential unless one discloses any of the following: any information that one reports about physical or sexual abuse of a minor: then by New York State Law, we are obligated to report this to the Department of Social Services; if one informs us that they are in danger of harming themselves or others; or information shared with law enforcement if a crime is committed on our premises or against our staff or as required by law such as a subpoena or court order. Any other information requires a signed consent form as required by HIPPA.
